Born and raised in Hasenbergl.

I started wrenching on a motorcycle at 12. (By 14 I already had 13 reports for driving without a license and without registration (How come? It was all self-built.)
The court ordered me to get a driver's license.
At 16 I was working as a race mechanic at German and Austrian racetracks.

1983 the first own shop Harley Point Munich. 1994–1999 under a new name Cycle Factory.

THEN: Music City USA, Nashville, Tennessee!
9 months a year motorcycle rider.
Streamlined life on a houseboat. (There the fish didn't end up in the pan). Low expenses and lots more time to live!

Rode over 200,000 km across 49 states and got to know life from its most beautiful side. What a dream!
After four years the dream was over for a while: Illegal immigration — back to Germany.

With my Harley I still do about 20,000 km a year and enjoy it like the first day. Especially the long tours to warmer climes, mostly with no destination, preferably with my two daughters on the Ultra Classic sidecar rig.
AND: For years the racing fever has gripped me again. With my self-built Harley-Davidson XR1000 TT, I can be found at various vintage hillclimb and circuit races...
