Visiting this website and hosting

When you visit this website, the web server processes technical connection data, particularly your IP address and the requested address. Depending on the server configuration, the time, browser information, operating system and referring page may also be processed if your browser provides these details. This processing serves the availability, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure and functioning website.

The hosting service provider used to operate the website receives technical connection data. If technical logs are retained, the retention period is determined by what is necessary for operation, troubleshooting and responding to security incidents. Data is not retained longer than necessary for these purposes unless legal obligations or specific legal claims require a longer period.

Search, filters and saved people

Search and vocation and location filters work with information provided on this website. Search and filter values may appear in the requested web address and therefore form part of technical connection data. No user account is required.

If you save people to your list, their profile identifiers are stored in your browser's local storage under the key kern-saved. The website does not transmit this list to a server. Entries remain in this browser until you remove them or clear the website's local storage; changing devices does not transfer the list. This storage is necessary for the saved-list feature you expressly request (section 25(2), number 2, TDDDG). Using the list is optional; other content can be used without it.

No tracking services or embedded platform players

This website uses no Google Analytics or advertising tracking services, social-media plugins, or embedded YouTube or podcast players. Fonts, images and files required for display are delivered through this website. The website code sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

Contact by email and WhatsApp

If you contact us, we process the contact information and messages you provide to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries. Email or messaging service providers used for communication may receive these data. Providing information is voluntary; without a means of reaching you, we cannot reply.

The WhatsApp link opens the external WhatsApp service. Its own privacy terms also apply to processing there, which may include processing outside the EU. Using WhatsApp is optional; you can contact us by email instead. This website has no contact form, newsletter sign-up, online ordering or payment process.

Enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond and handle relevant follow-up questions. They are then deleted unless legal retention obligations or establishing, exercising or defending legal claims require otherwise.

People profiles and external links

The directory contains names, professional information, images and contact or service links for the people presented. The display is based on information supplied and approved for publication. Where publication is based on data-protection consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR applies; consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect. To correct or remove your own information, please contact the address above.

Links to people, social-media pages and podcast platforms open external services. You visit a service only when you follow its link. Its privacy terms apply and further processing or transfers outside the EU may take place. We cannot control processing on these external services.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent with future effect at any time. Please contact hello@kern-menschen.de.

You may also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority, particularly where you normally live, work, or where the suspected infringement occurred. For private organisations in Bavaria, the relevant authority is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht.

This website does not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, within Article 22 GDPR. Vocation and location filters only select published profiles.
