› What is, is the solution ‹

Was born in Paris in 1965, live in Zurich, and frequently appear on camera and on stage in Germany.
I am a cosmopolitan – in theater as in film.

After graduating from secondary school I studied at the Zurich Academy of Acting and was discovered there by the successful director Robert Wilson, who engaged me for the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.
This was followed by engagements at the Residenztheater Munich, Schauspiel Bonn and the Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich.

I have appeared in well over 60 TV films and series and also on the big screen, among others in 'Straight Shooter' alongside Dennis Hopper and in 'The Edukators' directed by Hans Weingartner.
For my convincing portrayal of Lieutenant Colonel Clemens Forell in the
feature film 'So Far the Feet Will Carry Me', which depicts Forell’s captivity by the Red Army and his escape in the postwar period, I was awarded Best Actor at the Milan Film Festival in 2002.

Since 2006 I have appeared as the empathetic senior physician Dr. Martin Stein in 'In All Friendship'.
At the Capitol Theater in Düsseldorf I was part of the 2004 musical production 'The Girl Rosemarie' and in 2012 played the male lead in the Broadway adaptation 'Funny Girl' at the State Theater Nuremberg.
In the following years I toured with stage classics such as 'Amphitryon' and 'To Be or Not to Be'.

Another professional passion is my regular readings (among others Rousseau), as well as my engagements as an audio drama narrator.
